| The Carey Olsen Jersey Regatta is the flagship event in the Islands programme for IRC and YTC cruiser, sportsboat, dayboat, dinghy and sport catamaran classes. Organised jointly by the Royal Channel Islands YC, St Helier YC and St Catherines SC the Regatta is an open event sponsored, for the sixth year running, by leading offshore law firm Carey Olsen. Racing is held in the beautiful natural confines of St Aubins Bay and in adjacent coastal waters. The programme, designed to provide fun and competitive racing for all, provides trophies and prizes for all classes each day. A full social programme, hosted in the clubs, includes a lively regatta party and a bumper prize-giving.
GBR IRC Channel Islands Championship The undoubted highlight of the cruiser/racer programme will be the regional GBR IRC Channel Islands Championship running within the Regatta (Ref. https://rorcrating.com). This highly competitive Championship, with prizes provided by North Sails (www.northsails.com), is open to all IRC-rated boats, local and visiting, alike.
